About Me

I started waterskiing at the age of 7 years old and was coached by my father who was himself a former National Waterskiier, thus I have been on the water for 4 decades.

I first started competing as a National Waterskier in 1991 and some of my achievements have included breaking several national records in slalom and as well as a Silver Medal at the SEA Games in 1997.

I started wakeboarding back in 1995, and competed internationally at the Asian X Games from 1999 – 2001. I also competed in the Asian Wakeboard Pro Tour from 2002.

As an instructor, I started coaching since I was 16 years old. I have since coached some of the top wakeboarders in Asia which include :

  • Guy Tanaka (Under-14 World Champion, Red Bull & Billabong Team Rider)
  • Sasha Christian (Red Bull Athlete, Singapore National Wakeboarder)
  • Mark Griffin (SEA Games Medallist, Philippines)
  • Singapore SEA Games Wakeboard Team 2015 & 2017

Right now, my focus is to groom the next generation of riders. My 4 decades on the water has provided me with a wealth of experience which allows me to train my students more effectively as well as to minimize injuries.

I look forward for the opportunity to ride with you and let me help you take your riding to the next level!
